MARINE CORPS AIR STATION NEW RIVER, N.C. - Sgt. Robert A. Allen III, commander of troops and motor transportation specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 272, marches the color guard to retire the colors during the Marine Corps Air Station New River relief and appointment and retirement ceremony for Sgt. Maj. Robert A. Allen Jr. (outgoing) and Sgt. Maj. William H. Oldenburg aboard the air station, April 11. Allen relinquished his post as the air station sergeant major to Oldenburg. During the ceremony, noncommissioned officers held key billets during the ceremony and marched with the noncommissioned officer sword. Sgt. Allen is the son of Sgt. Maj. Allen.
