Mission

 

The Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River Adjutant Department provides administrative support to the MCAS New River Commanding Officer, general and special staff departments, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron and the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit New River. 

 
SUPPORT

 

The Adjutant Department is responsible for: Coordinating internal and external administrative requirements; tracking and monitoring urgent administrative support requested by higher headquarters and/or subordinate commands; preparing and publishing duty roster assignments; publishing staff regulations; preparing, reviewing, and staffing command correspondence to include congressional inquiries/special interest correspondence; processing military and civilian personal awards, unit awards, and special awards; managing the Casualty Assistance Program; maintaining command correspondence files; managing the acquisition, distribution control, accounting for of the Command's publications; managing the Directives Control Point; managing the Command's Forms, Records, and Reports Management Programs; managing the Privacy Act of 1974, managing the Voter Assistance Program, and managing the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution tasking system.
