MCB CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Kert Lang, an emergency manager from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, provides an exercise overview for U.S. Marines and civilians from MCAS New River and Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 365 alongside first responders from neighboring communities during an aircraft mishap exercise at Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Camp Davis on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 28, 2025. MCAS New River conducts the aircraft mishap exercise annually, bringing together city, county and state emergency services to enhance interoperability and readiness in the event of a real-world emergency.
