JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -- The Juneteenth National Independence Day Act was signed into law today establishing June 19th as a federal holiday. As the 19th falls on a Saturday, most federal employees will observe the holiday, Friday, June 18.
Due to prior operational commitments, uniformed service members will observe the holiday on Monday, June 21.
Military and civilian personnel of tenant commands who have questions regarding specific reporting circumstances should contact their chain of command or work supervisor for instruction.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune will remain open tomorrow, June 18, and will not cancel any previously scheduled appointments.
