Gate Advisories

Curtis Gate closure, Nov. 6-7

The Curtis Gate will be closed, Thursday, Nov. 6, beginning 6 p.m. to finish barrier installation. The gate will remain closed until 2 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7. The gate will be closed again for required testing between 2 and 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7. Personnel should use the Douglass Gate during these times.

Douglass Gate Road Work, Nov. 11

Minimal road work has been scheduled at the Douglass Gate for Tuesday, Nov. 11. The gate will remain operational, but personnel should expect lane shifts and possible delays when entering and exiting the installation.

Traffic Advisories

Perimeter Road Construction and Lane Closures Oct. 20-Nov. 19 - New!

Perimeter Road between ECP-68 and ECP-69 is now open to traffic, though personnel should expect periodic lane closures as construction continues. Construction is estimated to conclude by Wednesday, Nov. 19.

Power Outage Advisories

There are no scheduled power outages at this time.

Personnel living in the barracks or BOQ should report any power outages to their barracks manager.

Personnel living on base should report any power outages to their PPV housing office maintenance line.

Weather Advisories

The annual Atlantic Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 each year. The MCAS New River area will be in Topical Cyclone Condition V (TCC V) until November 30 which indicates the potential for the occurrence of destructive weather is elevated, but no specific system threatens the area.
