Family and friends gathered to honor the memory of retired Master Gunnery Sgt. Jerry G. Grier at a memorial service held at the aviation memorial aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, Sept. 13. Grier served more than 26 years as a Marine and continued to serve his nation as a civilian contractor.
