Pervis, native of Atlanta, Ga., and training noncommissioned officer with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., putts his ball while playing in a golf scramble at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club in Plantation, Fla., April 29.
