Eben Buxton, right, a native of Virginia and outgoing commanding officer of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 464, and Lt. Col. Justin Carrel, a native of Alabama and oncoming commanding officer of HMH-464, embrace during a change of command ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, Feb. 16, 2024. The ceremony represented a transfer of responsibility, authority, and accountability from Buxton to Carrel.
