Matt Berger, a Richmond, Ind., native with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, participates in a community outreach effort at the New England Center for Homeless Veterans May 3, 2010. A squad of Marines assisted the center's staff with various projects as part of Marine Week. Marine Week Boston, which runs from May 3-9, is an opportunity for local citizens to meet the men and women of the Marine Corps and learn about its history, traditions and value to the nation.
