Andrew McPherson, 6, celebrates his success on the Deployable Virtual Training Environment System at Navy Pier May 15. The O'Fallon, Ill., native was acting as a pilot of the AH-1 W Super Cobra helicopter, and was taking aim on ground targets. The pier held host to numerous Marine Corps gear and weapon displays as a part of the first ever Marine Week.The displays are free and open to the public. The gear and weapons will be set-up in Festival Hall through Sunday evening.
